Gertrude Pitkanen - Framed and Matted Print - Butte Montana

In 1932 at age 53, Gertrude “The Baby Seller” decided to adopt these triplets that were “left to her” with a hand-written all-caps note. The brick house at left was Gerty’s residence on Colorado Street, and you can see the pillars from the black and red house in the historic photo. This shows Colorado Street in Butte, Montana.

These framed and matted prints are luxurious, and look like they belong in a museum.
