Gertrude Pitkanen - Canvas Gallery Wrap

The image is printed on canvas and wrapped around the frame. The frame is 1.5 inches thick, and comes with paper backing and hanging hardware.

In 1932 at age 53, Gertrude “The Baby Seller” decided to adopt these triplets that were “left to her” with a hand-written all-caps note. The brick house at left was Gerty’s residence on Colorado Street, and you can see the pillars from the black and red house in the historic photo.
