The BSB Archives is housed in the Butte Fire Department No.1 building, which was built in 1900 on Quartz Street. In 1976 the fire station moved to its new location on Montana Street, and in 1979 a plan for the Archives to be established in the building was made. The new addition was built in 2010. Circa 1930.
